About Filidhe
filidhe (pr. FEE leeh) is the old Irish word for the more poetic individuals who were members of the learned classes, the Nemed of Ireland.
I am a writer, a poet, a historian, a linguist, a horsewoman, a critical thinker and philosopher, and a very flawed, very real person.
I have three sons, am approaching a bitter middle age, am crippled by arthritis, and while I know who I am, I don’t always like myself.
